Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Authoriser:
Gary is an experienced adult social care and mental health team manager, a qualified Best Interest Assessor, a warranted Approved Mental Health Professional and a DoLS Authoriser (trained by Edge). We also have several associates who were (or still are) social work managers, senior managers or heads of service, and have also been trained (also by Edge) to undertake the role of DoLS Authoriser.
As a DoLS Authoriser, all our staff maintain either their BIA and AMHP status. We can act on a one-off/ad hoc or ongoing basis for your departmental needs. Please contact Gary if you have any questions (this service is for local authority DoLS teams only).
Our fees are £350 per Form 5, and a discount of 15% applies for more than 6 cases booked in one session.
