Safeguarding Adults:
We are trained to carry out section 42 Care Act 2024 Adult Safeguarding Enquiries, which are investigations into allegations of abuse against a person considered vulnerable (the current law uses the term "adult at risk"). Gary has specialist knowledge in safeguarding adults, having undertaken a master's level qualification and he is also ABE trained (achieving best evidence) and has worked as a police officer. Our associates have several years of experience managing complex cases.

Our assessments offer the following:
- Face to face meetings with those involved in the case of the adult subject to the enquiry.
- Joint working with the police or other investigatory agencies, such as the CQC, BASW, SWE, SCW.
- Consultation with any family member(s), friend(s) or professionals concerned with the care of the individual.
- A written report provided in PDF form (emailed) and a signed hard copy posted if required.
- A Safeguarding Support Plan on how to prevent further risk of harm and/or abuse, which is client-focused.
- Oral evidence provided at Case Conferences, if required.
